The Team

The co-curricular activities team has planned the app, developed it in conjunction with a student focus group and the Student Experience Team in OBIS, and piloted it with students.

Alison Honour
Associate Dean, Student Experience

Alison Honour studied BA (Hons) Sculpture at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and MA Site-Specific Sculpture at Wimbledon School of Art. She has taught and held leadership and management roles in Schools of Art & design since 1991 before joining Oxford Brookes University in 2006. Her work originated in sculpture, performance and site specific installations and has more recently involved collaborative research projects with technology, science and psychology including the creation of 'believable' robots and the use of eye tracking technology to explore 'looking' in the teaching of art and design. Other themes such as 'attachment' are also explored in her sculptural work.

Bob Champion

Lindsay Williams
Principal Lecturer Student Experience

Lindsay is currently a Principal Lecturer for Student Experience and Brookes Teaching Fellow within the Faculty of Business. Lindsay joined Oxford Brookes in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer, specialising in teaching large first year undergraduate business and marketing modules. Having a background in HE in FE, she became heavily involved in the curriculum design of the Faculty's business-related Foundation Degree programmes delivered at the University's partner colleges. This interest and expertise resulted in her more recently leading a two year University-wide PESE (Programme for Enhancing the Student Experience) Project, enhancing the student experience within the ACP (Associate College Partnership) and further strengthening the University's relationship with member colleges.
